Our Passion

It’s sad but true. The idea of “play” gets sidelined as we grow up and once we hit adulthood, it vanishes from our agenda altogether! Sure, we go travelling, we go to the movies, we shop till we drop… but what about those injections of childhood fun where little things bring big joy and laughter?

Action City is built on the passion for wanting to re-introduce play in small but significant ways into our everyday lives while holding on to the child-like belief that play is not frivolous – it is serious (but fun) stuff! And why not? When it can ease off stress, revive our sense of optimism, and open our eyes (and souls) to new possibilities and ideas.

At Action City, we get all wound-up looking for unusual PLAYthings that depart from those put-you-to-sleep mainstream toys we typically find in department stores.  We even take inspiration from everyday objects (like the massage chair or the humble bread) and give them creative and innovative twists — transforming them into fun and quirky objects.
